The Lourinhã Cooperative Winery offers guided tours with a tasting of DOC Lourinhã wine brandies, by prior appointment. The visit begins in the main room, where you will learn why this territory became the first demarcated region in Portugal for Quality Wine Brandies, as well as the different stages of the production process. A highlight of the visit is the tour of the winery’s cellars, where you can see the different types of barrels and toast levels used, while learning about the ageing method applied in this unique process.
